May 10, 2015: "It’s midnight on Saturday during Canadian Music Week. I squeeze through a sweaty, capacity crowd at The Hideout to get near the the stage, though I still can’t get an unobstructed shot of the band. So I climb onto a table against the wall to the side of the stage, but the lighting is dim. I slow my camera’s shutter speed to 1/15 of a second and use the pop-up flash to bounce some light off the ceiling to freeze the action and voilà! I love how everyone in the frame appears lost in the moment. Rock ’n roll!"
